Choppin’ Cotton is an online quilting supply store and a vendor at Quilt Shows throughout New England. It began with it’s foundation tool, the Alto’s QuiltCut2 Fabric Cutting System. We are the Alto’s state representative for Maine and New Hampshire. Over time, we began to add other tools and supplies which we found to be useful quality items. We only sell items we love and use daily. You will notice, we do not carry all rotary cutters or scissors. We carry only ones we feel have the quality for the price: Dovo, Mundial, DuraSharp, Olfa & Dritz. We test and use our tools before we sell them.

Our quilt kits consist of pattern and fabrics we have selected from quality fabric wholesalers like: RJR Fabrics, P&B Textiles, Robert Kaufman, Timeless Treasures & Blank Fabrics. Our kits save you both time and money. You will not have to shop all over for patterns and all the fabric pieces needed to make your quilt. We have obtained the patterns for your from the designers and have included everything you need except the backing and batting. No more buying unnecessary fabric when you only need a small piece. Our kits are generous and provide extra fabric in case you make a small error. You only pay for the fabric that you need. We do not cut or sell a kit until we have actually made it ourselves. That way, we make sure, you are getting everything you need.

You will also notice, we try to carry everything we can find regarding foundation/paper piecing. Books, patterns, tools & paper. For those who love foundation piecing, we are trying to gather all your supplies at one location. We love Cindi Edgerton’s paper piecing patterns and try to keep a large supply at all times.
