After 25 years of nursing, I decided to focus on my other passions-- sewing, quilting, scrapbooking and cooking. I became a representative for Alto's after researching quilting tools. I was looking for something which would allow my arthritic hands to make precise and fast cuts. The Quilt Cut2 was the solution. In addition to loving the system, I so admired the company's philosophy of serving the Independent quilt shop owners and the Individual quilters, that I decided I wanted to become a representative for them. I am proud to bring this fantastic tool to New England.
My grandmother was a huge influence on me growing up. Throughout my childhood she produced beautiful handmade clothes for my dolls and other carefully designed fabric creations that I was the benefactor of. I adored and greatly admired her. I can only hope to attain the skills with fabric that she possessed. She was an extraordinary woman in so many ways. She is my inspiration for Choppin’ Cotton.
It gives me joy to be able to share this wonderful system with other quilters. |
